Born in Edmonton, Toan started dancing at 22 when he took a modern dance elective from the University of Alberta. In 2008, he was accepted at The School of Toronto Dance Theatre where he studied Martha Graham Technique. Since then he has trained and performed in China, Taiwan, and Vancouver where he also worked as a school teacher. Toan currently performs around Kelowna with different theatre groups such as New Vintage Theatre and Kelowna Actor’s Studio. He began studying ballet with Tanya in 2022 and is grateful to be a part of the program.
