Jennifer Hunter trained with Mission Dance Center for eight years before joining the Okanagan Ballet Theatre as a trainee in 2025. She is a first year student pursuing a degree in psychology at UBCO. She has been passionate about ballet from the beginning and has performed in many ballets such as, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Giselle and excerpts from Don Quixote and Sleeping Beauty. Jennifer had the opportunity to attend Goh Ballet Vancouver’s Summer Intensive in 2024 to broaden her ballet training. She has received the privilege of guest coaching from Evelyn Hart and Chan Han Goh and gives her full thanks to Tanya Vadurova. Jennifer has practiced various dance styles such as contemporary, modern and flamenco, however she puts her main focus to ballet. She hopes to continue working on this art form for as long as she can and inspiring others.
